Oberon was founded in 2001 with a singular purpose: to become the “go to” investment bank for middle market businesses – capable of closing exceptional M&A and financing transactions with the same skill and resources historically provided only to Fortune 500 companies. Today, we have achieved that goal by bringing together approximately 70 seasoned professionals in our offices in the heart of New York City dedicated to delivering unmatched service and results to businesses across a number of industry sectors where our team has significant experience. Our relationship oriented approach has generated numerous long-term, multi-transaction client engagements that have stretched as long as 5-10 years. Our ability to attract a critical mass of highly experienced investment bankers who came of age at bulge bracket firms such as Goldman Sachs and Bank of America and who have also spent many years of their careers dedicated to working with mid-market companies distinguishes us from the pack and delivers unrivaled results for mid-market companies.

Oberon is entirely dedicated to mid-market companies, generally ranging in value from $10 million to $500 million. Each client team is led by one or more senior investment bankers who are intimately familiar with the unique characteristics of privately held and closely held publicly traded businesses.
